From third, to second, to first.
After finishing 3rd at the Paprec 600 Saint-Tropez and 2nd at the CIC Med Channel Race, Stella Nova has now won the Massilia Cup Offshore 2026.
And honestly, this victory means a lot.
The race was sailed in two legs: Marseille to Barcelona, then Barcelona back to Marseille. In the first leg, we were often fighting at the front, but during the second night we fell into a wind hole and lost precious time. We finished fourth — disappointed, but still only 13 minutes and 9 seconds behind Aquamarin.
That meant the race was still alive.
On the return leg from Barcelona to Marseille, Louis and I knew we had to sail clean, smart and with discipline. We made our strategic choices, committed to them, and trusted the work we had done as a team.
In the end, we reached Marseille 15 minutes and 10 seconds ahead of Aquamarin — enough to win the overall classification by just 2 minutes and 1 second.
After several days of racing, sleepless nights, changing conditions and constant pressure, 2 minutes and 1 second made the difference.
This result is more than a victory. It is a confirmation of our journey.
Race after race, we have improved. We have learned to stay calm, to trust our preparation, to believe in each other, and to keep fighting even when a situation looks difficult.
Three races. Three podiums.
